Early Detection and Prevention - Prevention and Implementation Group
1. To evaluate new preventive strategies, with particular emphasis on the use of new technologies, including molecular markers.
2. To engage in research on methods to implement existing strategies, taking into account social, economic, and cultural differences.
3. To collaborate with decision-makers to implement already available preventive interventions against cancer, particularly in developing countries where the need is highest.
4. To foster technology transfer and generate educational processes for clinicians, public health decision-makers, and the public, to ensure that the available technology is put in place where it is most needed.
