Current Research Projects

  • Implementation of a pilot cervical cancer screening program based on single visit approach and improving capacity for breast cancer early diagnosis in Burkina Faso, Chad, Ivory Coast, and Senegal

  • Ensuring equitable access to essential non-communicable disease control interventions (control of hypertension, diabetes and cancers of breast, cervix and oral cavity) for women in India [Improving Access to Control of Diseases for Women (IMPACD) Study]

  • Extended follow-up of the participants of IARC-India HPV vaccination study to evaluate the effectiveness of one, two and three doses of quadrivalent HPV vaccine in preventing cervical neoplasia

  • Randomized controlled trial (RCT) of the Liger Thermal Coagulator vs Cryocautery and vs LLETZ to prevent cervical neoplasia in VIA positive women in LMIC. Funded by NCI, USA.

  • Preparation of the second report on the status of implementation of the EU Council recommendations on breast, cervical and colorectal cancer screening in 28 EU Member States. Funded by European Commission.
