International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB)

Fellowships are available to participate in the 5th Workshop on Emerging Issues in Oncogenic Virus Research, to be held in San Pietro in Bevagna, Manduria, Italy, on 30 May to 3 June 2018. Applications for fellowships are invited from junior scientists (PhD students and postdoctoral fellows) wishing to participate in the workshop. The fellowships will cover the workshop registration fees, which include participation in the meeting, accommodation and meals, and transportation by shuttle bus to and from Brindisi Airport (or possibly Bari Airport), as well as ground transportation during the meeting. Other travel costs will be at the expense of the fellowship recipient.

This fellowship programme is supported by the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB).

Only junior scientists who are nationals of an ICGEB Member State are eligible. For more details, please see the list of ICGEB Member States.

Applications must be received by the meeting organizers (email: oncogenicviruses2018@iarc.fr) before 1 March 2018. Successful applicants will be notified 2 weeks later.

Applications should include a curriculum vitae, including a list of publications, and an abstract of the work that will be presented at the workshop as either a poster or a short oral presentation. For the preparation of the abstract, please follow the instructions provided.
