IARC to host workshop on Registration of Childhood Cancer: Challenges and Opportunities

The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) is pleased to host a workshop on the registration of cancer in children, to be held on Tuesday 22 October 2019. This workshop is part of the Global Initiative for Childhood Cancer (GICC), launched by the World Health Organization (WHO) in September 2018. The GICC aims to raise awareness of childhood cancer at global and national levels and to expand the capacity of countries to deliver best practice in childhood cancer care.

The workshop is being organized by IARC in collaboration with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which is the WHO Collaborating Centre for Childhood Cancer.

Participation in the workshop is free of charge, but registration is required because places are limited.

Registration for the workshop is now open and will close on 31 August 2019.
